COP26andbeyond and Istituto Analisi Relazioni Internationali are delighted and honoured that the Italian government has selected our application to present events at the Milan #All4Climate Italy 2021 Program.

‘Launched by the Italian Ministry for Ecological Transition in collaboration with the World Bank Group’s Connect4Climate and with the participation of the Lombardy Region and the Municipality of Milan, All4Climate aims to foster proactive dialogue on the challenges of the climate crisis and deliver on the objectives of the Paris Agreement.’

Using the Law to Fix the Climate / Usara la legge per aggiustare il clima

28 September (3pm: BST / 4pm: CEST)

We will explore critical issues around how laws are made, how they are enforced, and how you can get involved in using the laws to help fix the climate. We will be showing our new short film, made with Eastside Educational and Adobe and featuring ground-breaking interviews with four young climate activists in the UK, Kenya, Nigeria and Australia.

Engineering for the Energy Transition / Ingegneria per la transizione energetica

29 September (3pm: BST / 4pm: CEST)

Will feature a panel discussion and interactive question and answer sessions with industry experts and early-career engineers from many of the sectors crucial to the energy transition. We will look at the engineering challenges and solutions involved in transitioning to a Net-Zero economy by 2050 and ask how people can get involved in shaping the engineering solutions that are required.

Climate Change and the future of jobs / Cambiamento climatico e il futuro del lavoro

30 September (3pm: BST / 4pm: CEST)

We will consider how climate change will impact jobs and what you can do about it. Green jobs are a make or break issue in the fight against climate change. This online workshop will discuss the future of green jobs and the implications of the Net Zero world for lifelong learning, as well as provide practical tips for those seeking a green career. The workshop will tackle key questions such as: What are green jobs? How can we ensure a just transition? If whole industries require transformation in a Net Zero world, how should we reskill?  Is it possible to save the planet and thrive in our careers?
